Authority, MK. 1:21-22 (TPT), “Then Jesus and His disciples went to Capernaum, and He immediately started teaching on the Sabbath day in the synagogue. The people were awestruck by His teaching, because He taught in a way that demonstrated God’s authority, which was quite unlike the religious scholars.”

Where did Jesus get His authority? It came from the secret place with Daddy God. Amos 3:7, "Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants”.  The word secret in the Hebrew means a council of familiar conversation, a circle of close companions, and intimacy with Daddy God.

Now thats a place we all want to live from. Jesus said he was given all authority in heaven and earth. And then He gave us that same authority! We can read the Bible and even quote it, but if we don’t have the authority that comes from the secret place, it’s empty.

The secret place is were Daddy God waits for you, so He can share His plans and reinforce your authority. Won’t you join Him for a conversation today?
