Rest, JN. 16:31-33 (TPT), “Jesus replied, “Now you finally believe in Me. And the time has come when you will all be scattered, and each one of you will go your own way, leaving Me alone!  Yet I am never alone, for the Father is always with Me. And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”

The disciples had been with Jesus and still they had trouble believing in Him. Then they finally got it. Just like us, we may take awhile to get who Christ is in us. We can be assured that struggles will come, but Christ is in the middle of it with us and in us. And we can have that same rest that He has in the middle of the storms of life. Rest in His kind rest!
