Salvation, Titus 3:3-6 (The Mirror Bible), “Do not be harsh on others. Remember that we, too, were typically foolish; we were stubborn and indifferent to spiritual things, our addiction to the sensual and sexual kept us running around in circles, we were engaged in malice and spiteful jealousies, we were bored and lonely, often utterly disliking ourselves and hating one another. But then, oh happy day. It was the generosity of God and His fondness for mankind that dawned on us like a shaft of light. Our days of darkness were over. Light shone everywhere and we became aware: God rescued the human race. Salvation is not a reward for good behavior. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything that we have done. God’s mercy saved us. The Holy Spirit endorses in us what happened to us when Jesus Christ died and was raised. When we heard the glad announcement of salvation it was like taking a deep warm bath. Our minds were thoroughly cleansed and re-booted into newness of life.”

Salvation is a gift; it’s nothing we can earn or achieve. We want to-do list’s, check lists, and rules to guide us through life. Lists aren’t bad; they can be very helpful. When they become a law needed to get us to Daddy, that’s when they become a problem.

Jesus love us so much He came and showed us the way. Then He even gave up His life so we could live a life full of Himself! He did it all. No to-do’s on our end needed.

The gift or salvation is a free gift that makes you brand new!

Be a Blessing, Sir Gregory
