Jerusalem, PSA. 122:6-9 (TPT), “Pray and seek for Jerusalem’s peace, for all who love her will prosper! Jerusalem, may there be peace for those who dwell inside your walls and prosperity in your every palace. I intercede for the sake of my family and friends who dwell there, that they may all live in peace. For the sake of your house, Yahweh I will seek the welfare and prosperity of Jerusalem.”

We are asked to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Not just Jerusalem, but also for all of Israel. As we pray for their peace, peace will also come upon us! Old and New Testaments say that Israel is a friend of Daddy God. Not just friends, but also a chosen people.

We are called a royal generation, a royal priesthood, a holy people:

1 PT. 2:9 (TPT), “But you are God’s chosen treasure — priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience His marvelous light, and now He claims you as His very own. He did this so that you would broadcast His glorious wonders throughout the world.”

So just as you pray for your family and friends, include Israel in your prayers. There’s even a blessing for you attached to blessing Jerusalem. You will prosper!
