Child — “For the Holy Spirit makes God’s Fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” And since we are His true children, we qualify to share all His treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God Himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is and all that He has. We will experience being co-glorified with Him provided that we accept His sufferings as our own.” (Romans 8:16-17, The Passion Translation)

What does it mean to be a beloved child of Daddy God? It means we have all the benefits of being an heir of the Kingdom of Heaven! We often major on the negative things of life , rather than the benefit’s of being a child of ‘The Creator of the Universe’. True, life can and will have bumps along the way — even detours. Most of them come from not listening to Holy Spirit’s guidance.

The benefits of being Their child outweigh the troubles. Some of these are listed here: “But the fruits produced by Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.” (Galatians 5:22-23, TPT)

Let’s look to the benefits and not the contradictions of being a child of Daddy God!
