Daily Vitamin

Community — “Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion. They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility. They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life.” (Acts 2;46-47, The Passion Translation)

The early Church met regularly, sometimes even daily, not just to hear someone speak but to have daily community. This included meals, communion, times of prayer, times to discover each other’s needs, and to just be together!

It wasn’t just a once-a-week-meeting. They truly joined together, and in doing so more joined them on a regular basis. We need to learn from their example and bring life back into the true purpose of meeting together!
