Delight, PSA. 37:3-5 (The Passion Translation), “Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in His eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and He will give you what you desire the most. Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust Him along the way, you’ll find He pulled it off perfectly!”

What does the word delight make you think of?  Happy, joy, ecstasy, pleasure — just to name a few of the feelings that delight brings to mind. Now add ‘delight’ to ‘Daddy God’. Do you have the same feelings?

Psalms 147:11 (NKJV), "The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him,

In those who hope in His mercy."

Daddy God takes delight in you! He’s for us, not against us. He’s not an angry God sending punishment. He’s a loving Daddy who takes great pleasure in us! He allowed Jesus to come and make a way for us to return to His delight.

It’s time to have another thought about who Daddy God really is.
