Discouraged

Discouraged, Deut 1:20-21 (New King James Version), “And I said to you, ‘You have come to the mountains of the Amorites, which the Lord our God is giving us. Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.”

Moses spoke to the people whom Daddy God had given the land. Sadly, all that the people could see were the obstacles and giants in the land. They were discouraged and fearful because they still had a slave mind set.

Our world isn’t much different. We have struggles and conflicts to overcome. Too often our trails feel overwhelming because we believe that we can’t overcome them. Yet — just like They did with the Israelites — Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit tell us to take the land!

There are lots of examples in the Bible when Daddy God said for people to go do things that seemed like they would be total failures. Because He was with them, they miraculously overcame victoriously.

What mountain has you discouraged? Remember you have the Creator of all things working with you. He says take the land; I’m with you!
