Grow, 2PT. 3:17-18 (TPT), “As for you, divinely loved ones, since you are forewarned of these things, be careful that you are not led astray by the error of the lawless and lose your firm grip on the truth. But continue to grow and increase in God’s grace and intimacy with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May He receive all the glory both now and until the day eternity begins. Amen!”

You might ask what were we warned about? That there would be many who would try to deceive us. It’s the main thing Jesus warned us about.

Peter is instructing us to draw close to Christ and grow in His love, grace, intimacy.

Holy Spirit is with us and in us to help in this process! Intimacy will bring presence, and presence will not only grow your love for Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, but it will also grow our love for others. Love is the reason Christ came so we could be reconciled to Them in all ways.
