Persecuted, Mat. 5:10-12 (The Passion Translation), “How enriched you are when persecuted for doing what is right! For then you experience the realm of heaven’s Kingdom.”

“How blessed you are when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for Me! So leap for joy—since your Heavenly reward is great. For you are being rejected the same way the prophets were before you.”

Nobody likes persecution, especially when it’s for doing something good. A lot of persecution comes from people not understanding. Some comes as attacks from our enemy.

Jesus was accused of all kinds of things — being a drunkard, a whoremonger, and so much more. How did He respond? With love! Love will always conquer persecution. Don’t return evil for evil, but return love for the evil that tries to destroy you!
