Prayer

Prayer — “If you feel too weak to worship, find encouragement in the care of those who are mature in their faith. Let them anoint you with oil and worship with you in prayer. Identify yourself in all that the Lord’s name represents. The prayer [environment] of faith shall restore the feeble. The Lord revitalizes and quickens you; He has already forgiven you of anything stupid you might have done to have caused the situation.” (James 5:14-15, The Mirror Bible)
There are many types of prayers. One type is to get agreement with others — not that your prayers aren’t powerful. Sometimes we simply need agreement.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-11, NKJV)
Unity in prayer brings about a power that one alone doesn’t have. Plus, one may see something that the other doesn’t, which means we could miss our victory because of this weakness.
Whether you are sick or struggling with life, having someone else pray with you brings comfort and encouragement. And it brings about a power that you don’t have alone.
Listen! Things can get better.
Today’s Decrees:
🔥 I decree that a culture of prayer and agreement is rising in the Body of Christ — believers who run toward each other in weakness and release the power of Heaven through unity!
🔥 I decree that every spirit of pride, isolation, and shame that has kept God's people from asking for prayer and receiving restoration is broken in Jesus' name!
🔥 I decree that prayer environments of faith are being established in homes, churches, communities, and cities — atmospheres where the feeble are restored and the weary are revitalized!
🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People are becoming a community of prayer — standing with each other, lifting each other, and releasing the power of agreement that turns every tide and wins every battle!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we come to You today not just as individuals but as a community of faith. Teach us the power of praying together — the strength that comes when two or more agree, the comfort that comes when someone stands with us in our weakness, and the victory that comes when we stop trying to carry everything alone. Let us be a people who run toward each other in need and not away. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Be a Blessing,
Sir Gregory
