Flesh — “I conclude: engage your spirit to be the dominant influence in your daily walk and see how it defeats the cravings of flesh. While the law of works still features in your mind, it is a catalyst to disaster; you are caught in the middle of a war zone, wanting to do the things that you desire by design, but finding the flesh in strong resistance to what the spirit desires. To be acquainted with the prompting of your spirit [faith] is to be free from the law.” (Galatians 5:16-18, The Mirror Bible)

Many times we know what is right, yet the war between our flesh and spirit is real. To live by our spirit is the goal. That’s why it’s important to stay in fellowship with Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. They will help you with the strength you need to overcome the flesh!

“Keep alert and pray that you’ll be spared from this time of testing. Your spirit is eager enough, but your humanity (flesh) is weak.” (Matthew 26:41, The Passion Translation)

Let’s build up our spirit, so we may help others build up theirs. In doing so, we can win the war against our flesh!
