Daily Vitamin

Keys — “I will give you the keys of Heaven’s Kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19, The Passion Translation)

Peter was given keys to open up the realm of ‘The Kingdom of Heaven’. He had a gift of revelation that made it possible for him to see when others couldn’t!

John tells us, “When I saw him, I fell down at His feet as good as dead, but He laid His right hand on me and I heard His reassuring voice saying: Don’t yield to fear. I am the Beginning and I am the End, the Living One! I was dead, but now look—I am alive forever and ever. And I hold the keys that unlock death and the unseen world.” (Revelation 1:17-18, TPT)

Jesus also has keys to see what others can’t. He even has the keys to death.

Keys are a very important part of our lives — whether they be physical or spiritual. Holy Spirit is with us to help us distinguish which key of revelation we need to unlock which door. Peter was able to see Jesus for who He truly is. John saw into the unseen world. There are many examples throughout scripture where people had abilities that only could come from Daddy God. They had Kingdom Keys! Jesus paid the way so we could have these keys too!
