Righteousness, 2 Corinthians 5:20–21 (TPT), “We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to Him.”  For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with Him.”

Our righteousness comes from our faith in Christ. Even our faith is a gift given by Daddy God. Even Abram had faith that was counted as righteousness.

Gen. 5:16 (TPT), “And Abram trusted every word Yahweh had spoken! And because of his faith, Yahweh credited it to him as righteousness.”

Jesus completed our faith and righteousness on the cross. Both are gifts that He determined we deserved. In our minds, we don’t deserve anything from the Trinity. Yet, They love us so much that They count it joy when one person turns to Them for help and a renewed life.

Your faith is counted as righteousness! That’s something to get happy about.
