Presence — “God said, “My presence will go with you. I’ll see the journey to the end.  Moses said, “If Your presence doesn’t take the lead here, call this trip off right now. How else will it be known that You’re with me in this, with me and your people? Are You traveling with us or not? How else will we know that we’re special, I and Your people, among all other people on this planet Earth?” (Exodus 33:14-16, The Message Bible)

Mose’s put a demand on Daddy God: If you don’t go with us we’re not going! That was pretty bold on his part. People often assume Daddy God is with them when He’s no where to found in what they are doing. We may even hold church meetings and conferences, assuming the presence of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit will automatically be with us. The Israelite’s did this many times. They would win one battle and then go to the next battle without asking Daddy if they should go fight. The result? They would lose the battle!

We are not much different! We might not be fighting a literal battle, but we make plans without even seeking Daddy God. Then we wonder why they don’t work out.

Let’s not be like those who don’t ask. Rather, let’s be like Moses and ask Daddy God what we should do. Better yet let’s ask Daddy God, “What are You doing?” Then we can join Him which pretty much guarantees His presence will be with you!
