Strategy — “My advice to you is to retire from persecuting these men and leave them alone; should their enthusiasm be a mere self-imposed strategy, it will prove to have no future and offers no threat to anyone. Then again, should it perhaps be that God is the source behind all this, then you will never be able to overthrow them! Why run the risk of actually be found, fighting against God! His reasoning carried conviction so, they called the apostles in and instead of killing them, they had them severely lacerated with whips; then charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus and released them.” (Acts 5:38-40, The Mirror Bible)

The religious leaders planned to have Peter and the apostles imprisoned for teaching about Jesus. Yet one of the religious leaders convinced the others that Peter’s teaching was probably going to just fade away. And he convinced them that if the apostles’ strategy was from Daddy God, then they would be in more trouble than they bargained for! So they beat and released them.

We now know that the apostles’ teaching wasn’t going to fade away. It was not a self-imposed strategy to overturn the religious world. Nope. These men were witnesses of Jesus, not only in life but after death also!

Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit have a divine strategy for your life. Do you know what it is?
