Daily Vitamin

Sustain — “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” (Psalm 55:22, NKJV)

Daddy God will sustain our lives as long as we allow Him guide us. A piano player holds their foot on the sustain pedal to maintain the sound of a note. An interesting fact about the piano pedal is that it has three parts (sustain pedal, soft pedal, and  sostenuto pedal). Just like the Trinity is three in one — Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Another word we could use to describe sustain would be uphold. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10, NKJV)

One way they sustain us is with provision. They feed the birds and even number the hairs on our heads, all because They Love and care for us!

Jesus gave up His life for us in our realm so we could join Him in His!

Are you staying close enough to Them so you can hear Their voice and follow Their guidance?

Today’s Declaration’s:

• I declare that Daddy God sustains me and will never allow me to be moved!

• I declare that I am upheld by His righteous right hand in every season of my life!

• I declare that I am staying close enough to hear Their voice and follow Their guidance!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, I cast my burdens on You today, trusting that You will sustain me and never let me be moved. Thank You for upholding me with Your righteous right hand. Help me stay close enough to hear Your voice and follow Your guidance in every decision. Thank You, Jesus, for loving me enough to give Your life for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
