Faith, LK. 5:18-20 (TPT), “Some men came to Jesus, carrying a paraplegic man on a stretcher. They attempted to bring him in past the crowd to set him down in front of Jesus. But because there were so many people crowding the door, they had no way to bring him inside. So they crawled onto the roof, dug their way through the roof tiles, and lowered the man, stretcher and all, into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

“Seeing the demonstration of their faith, Jesus said to the paraplegic man, “My friend, your sins are forgiven!”

Wow! Because of the faith of the four friends, the paraplegic was not only healed but forgiven. They went to an extreme to help a friend. I’m sure this offended the religious around them. But their faith was sure that Jesus would heal him.

I wonder to what extremes we will go to bring a sinner/friend to the feet of Jesus? Who around you can you bring to Jesus? Don’t let the religious stop you from loving on the outcast, the broken, the sick, the sinner. Let your faith bring them into Jesus’ presence so they can be healed and forgiven.

Be a Blessing, Sir Gregory
