Taste, 1PT. 2:1-3 (TPT), “So abandon every form of evil, deceit, hypocrisy, feelings of jealousy and slander. In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. For this “milk” will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life —especially now that you have had a taste of the goodness of the Lord Jehovah and have experienced His kindness.”

As we grow in the natural and the spiritual, our tastes change. Somethings are just never the same. Yet the pureness of Daddy God’s word and presence grow deeper and deeper within us. The desires of the flesh grow dimmer and dimmer. The desire for Daddy God grows stronger and stronger, never to be completely satisfied until the day we stand face to face with Him, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

There are times in this life that we need to revisit the taste of our birth in Christ. If life seems foggy, hard, confusing or whatever, maybe you need a full glass of Holy Spirit’s milk! There’s plenty waiting on you. So have a big glass and see that the Lord is good!
