Thoughts — “Now let this be your conclusive reasoning: consider that which is true about everyone as evidenced in Christ. Live overwhelmed by God’s opinion of you. Acquaint yourselves with the revelation of righteousness; realize God’s likeness in you. Make it your business to declare mankind’s redeemed innocence. Think friendship. Discover how famous everyone is in the light of the gospel; mankind is in God’s limelight. Ponder how elevated you are in Christ. Study stories that celebrate life.” (Phil.4:8, The Mirror Bible)

When you read that you are Daddy God’s image, what do you think? Is your first thought, “there is no way” or “I’m nothing just a sinful human?”

Don’t forget Christ came and gave up everything just for you!

What rules your thought life? Is it knowing you’re famous in Daddy God’s Kingdom? Or does the darkness of our world rule your thought life?

We are made in the image of Jesus, Holy Spirit and Daddy God! And since we are made in Their image, shouldn’t our thoughts be in line with Their thoughts? Instead of allowing the darkness to rule our thoughts, let’s follow Paul’s instruction’s: “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Phil.4:8, NKJV)

As you study stories that celebrate life rather than death, you will realize that you really are the apple of Daddy God’s eye! (PSA 17:8)

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, transform our thought patterns to align with Your thoughts about us! Help us live overwhelmed by Your opinion of us rather than the darkness of this world. Open our eyes to see that we are made in Your image - the image of Jesus, Holy Spirit, and You. Break off every thought that says we're "nothing but human" or "just sinners" and replace them with the truth of our redeemed innocence. Help us think friendship, discover our fame in Your Kingdom, and ponder how elevated we are in Christ. Guide us to meditate on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Make us realize we are the apple of Your eye! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Declarations:

I choose to live overwhelmed by Daddy God's opinion of me! I am made in the image of Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Daddy God, so my thoughts will align with Their thoughts. I refuse to let the darkness of this world rule my thought life. Instead, I meditate on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. I am famous in God's Kingdom and in His limelight. I am elevated in Christ and redeemed to innocence. I think friendship toward everyone and make it my business to declare mankind's true identity. I am the apple of Daddy God's eye - His most treasured and protected possession!
