Confess — “Confess and acknowledge how you have offended one another and then pray for one another to be instantly healed, for tremendous power is released through the passionate, heartfelt prayer of a godly believer (James 5:16, TPT)

Confession brings power and wholeness into not only our relationships with one another, but also with Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. You might say that They know any way. To bring darkness to light on our own is always the best. And the sooner the better. The longer you keep darkness hide the damage it causes, may be devastating, costly or just painful to yourself and others.

Jesus tells us; “There is nothing hidden that will not become fully known; even things that have long been unnoticed will come to light.” (Luke 8:17, The Mirror Bible)

It’s always better to confess any darkness in our lives — and to encourage those around us to do the same! In doing so, reconciliation can be accomplished with others and with Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

Once darkness is revealed, be quick to confess it, and cast it out!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, give us the courage to bring darkness to light through honest confession rather than allowing hidden things to fester and cause damage. Help us understand that confession isn't about shame but about freedom, not about condemnation but about cleansing. Holy Spirit, create safe environments where confession leads to healing and reconciliation rather than judgment and rejection. Teach us to be quick to confess and cast out anything that hinders our relationships with You and others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Decrees:

• I decree that I am quick to confess darkness rather than allowing it to remain hidden!

• I decree that tremendous power is released through my honest confession and heartfelt prayer!

• I decree that I acknowledge offenses and seek reconciliation through transparency!

• I decree that I create and participate in environments where confession leads to healing!

• I decree that I cast out darkness when it's revealed and walk in the light!
