Focus — “So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18, TPT)

There are two realms: one that is seen and one that is unseen to the physical eye. And the glimpses we see into the unseen realm are seen dimly. (1 Corinthians 13:12) The psalmist in 119:18 prays, “Open my eyes so I can see what you show me of your miracle-wonders.”

“But your eyes are privileged, for they see. Delighted are your ears, for they are open to hear all these things. Many prophets and godly people in times past yearned to see these days of miracles that you’ve been favored to see. They would have given everything to hear the revelation you’ve been favored to hear. Yet they didn’t get to see as much as a glimpse or hear even a whisper.” (Matthew 13:16-17, TPT) Jesus gave us the understanding that if we would seek Him, our eyes could be open to see everything else!

Let’s pray as the psalmist prayed, open our eyes!  Our world needs us to see and hear so we can show them the Kingdom of God!

Let’s  Pray:

Daddy God, open our eyes to see what You show us of Your miracle-wonders in the unseen realm. Help us focus our attention on eternal realities rather than temporary circumstances. Holy Spirit, renew our inner being daily and give us the perspective that views our troubles in the light of eternity. Grant us the privileged eyes and delighted ears that Jesus spoke about so we can see and hear what many prophets yearned to experience. Use us to show others the Kingdom of God that exists all around us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Decrees:

• I decree that I focus on the unseen, eternal realm rather than temporary, seen circumstances!

• I decree that my inner being is renewed daily from Heaven's unlimited resources!

• I decree that my troubles are slight and short-lived when viewed in the light of eternity!

• I decree that I have privileged eyes and delighted ears that perceive Kingdom realities!

• I decree that I show others the unseen realm of God's Kingdom operating all around us!

Be a Blessing,

Sir Gregory
