Prayer — “So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. So when the Syrianscame down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:16-18, NKJV)

Is what we see the true story? Or is it just our perspective? Many times what we see is not the truth. Elisha’s servant didn’t see who was really on the mountain side. So he prayed and his servant’s eyes were opened. Then he prayed again, and his enemy’s eyes were closed.

This is just one example of the power of prayer. There are many examples of people praying and seeing impossible things happen. Jesus is always our prime example. He would take time to pray and connect with the Father. That’s where His assignments and power came from.

We all have the same ability to see our prayers being effective. The key is being connected to Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Your prayers have more power than you know. What are you praying?

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, open our eyes to see the true reality beyond what our natural vision perceives. Help us understand that what we see is often just our limited perspective, not the full truth. Jesus, teach us to follow Your example of drawing power from prayer through connection with the Father. Holy Spirit, show us that our prayers have more power than we know when we're truly connected to the Trinity. Help us pray with faith, knowing that You are working even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, Amen.

• I declare that those who are with me are more than those against me!

• I declare that I have spiritual eyes to see divine realities beyond natural circumstances!

• I declare that my prayers have supernatural power to influence situations and open spiritual sight!

• I declare that I draw spiritual power from intimate connection with the Trinity through prayer!

• I declare that I pray with faith for the impossible, knowing God works beyond what I can see!
