Daily Vitamin

False — “For there will be imposters falsely claiming to be God’s ‘Anointed One,’ and false prophets will arise to perform miracle signs to lead astray, if possible, those God has chosen to be His. (Mathew 24:24, TPT)

Jesus gave us the warning that false christ and false prophets would show up! How will we know if these are truly false? They can be very convincing, most of the time people pretending to be something really believe they are. Jesus told us “But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, He will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak His own message, but only what He hears from the Father, and He will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.” (John 16:13, TPT)

We see Holy Spirit will help us to dispel the false. Also Paul gave some good advice: “So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always. Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things.”   Philippians 4:8, TPT) Let’s keep our thoughts and eyes on Christ.

John also spoke about the false: “Delightfully loved friends, don’t trust every spirit, but carefully examine what they say to determine if they are of God, because many false prophets have mingled into the world. Here’s the test for those with the genuine Spirit of God: they will confess Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh. (1 John 4:12, TPT)

The false has been around since the Fall, but Holy Spirit has been around longer than that. So if something seems off, you can always ask! Truth will always win.

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, give us discernment to recognize truth from falsehood in these days when deception is increasing. Holy Spirit, unveil the reality of every truth within us and help us test every spirit to see if it aligns with Your Word. Keep our thoughts fixed on what is authentic, real, and honorable so that we won't be led astray by convincing counterfeits. Thank You for being our Truth-giving Spirit who reveals what is to come and protects us from deception. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Decrees:

• I decree that Holy Spirit gives me discernment to recognize truth from falsehood!

• I decree that I test every spirit and examine all teachings against God's Word!

• I decree that my mind is saturated with truth, making me sensitive to deception!

• I decree that I know Jesus' voice and will not follow the voice of strangers!

• I decree that truth always wins when properly understood and applied!
