Light — “Then suddenly a man appeared who was sent from God, a messenger named John. For he came to be a witness, to point the way to the Light of Life, and to help everyone believe. John was not that Light but he came to show who is. For he was merely a messenger to speak the truth about the Light. For the Light of Truth was about to come into the world and shine upon everyone. ( John 1:6-9,TPT)

John became the messenger who exposed the people to the Light that would change the world as it was known.

In the beginning, the earth was full of darkness. Daddy God spoke and light came into creation. The darkness tried its best to overcome the light, from then until even now. Jesus was that light who came to show us the way to overcome the darkness. He left His place beside Daddy God to make a way for mankind to be restored to their rightful place with Him.

Let’s embrace the light that Jesus made possible for us. Holy Spirit now shines through us.

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for speaking light into existence when darkness covered the earth, and thank You for sending Jesus as the Light of the World to dispel the spiritual darkness that had overtaken humanity. Help us embrace the light that Jesus made possible for us and become witnesses like John who point others toward that same transforming light. Shine Your truth upon every area of our lives and make us carriers of Your light to a world still struggling in darkness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

• I decree that I am a carrier of Christ's light, shining truth into darkness!

• I decree that the light within me cannot be overcome by any darkness!

• I decree that I walk in my rightful place as Daddy God's beloved child!

• I decree that I point others toward the Light of Truth through my words and actions! • I decree that everywhere I go, the darkness retreats because of the light I carry!
