Forgotten — “Your entire life is a poem; any undercurrent murmuring or argumentative debating would be completely out of place. Do not let such issues disrupt the rhythm of your conversation. Your flawless innocence radiates attraction as beacons of light in the midst of a people who have forgotten their true sonship and whose lives have become distorted and perverse.” (Philippians 2:14-15, The Message Bible)
Forgetting who we and Whose we are isn’t something new. The Israelites forgot that too in a very short time.
“Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, and have forgotten the God who fathered you.” (Deuteronomy 32:18, NKJV)
The schemes of our adversaries are to convince us we are someone other than who we were created to be. It seems this begins from the moment when Daddy God tells us who we are and what He would like us to become. Seems too good to be true; we believe that can’t happen. So when our adversary says who we are, we end up believing. Even though it’s a lie!
When Spending time in the presence of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and in Their written word, we discover who we truly are! The world needs your authentic, God-given self. It needs to experience who you are and Who you serve. This is how we beat those who want us to forget!
Today’s Decrees:
🔥 I decree that forgotten sonship is being restored across the earth as God's people spend time in His presence and His Word!
🔥 I decree that the distorted identities offered by the adversary are being exposed and rejected in favor of true sonship!
🔥 I decree that lives once tangled in undercurrent murmuring and argumentative debating are becoming poems of rhythm and light!
🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People remember whose they are, and their remembered identity becomes a beacon drawing a forgetful world back to truth!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, forgive us for the times we have been unmindful of You, the Rock who begot us, and forgotten that You are the God who fathered us. Restore our true sonship today. Where we have believed a distorted identity offered by our adversary, replace it with the truth of who You say we are. Let our lives be poems, rhythmic and free from murmuring and debate, radiating the flawless innocence of remembered sonship. Draw us into Your presence and into Your Word, and let that time be where we discover, again and again, who we truly are. Let our remembered lives become beacons of light in the midst of a forgetful world. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Be a Blessing,
Sir Gregory
