Praise — “Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Praise God in His holy sanctuary! Praise Him in His stronghold in the sky! Praise Him for His miracles of might! Praise Him for His magnificent greatness Praise Him with the trumpets blasting! Praise Him with piano and guitar! Praise Him with drums and dancing! Praise Him with the loud, resounding clash of cymbals! Praise Him with every instrument you can find! Let everyone everywhere join in the crescendo of ecstatic praise to Yahweh! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:1-6, TPT)

It’s believed that King David wrote this psalm. He had a lot of things to praise Daddy God about, probably more than any of us could imagine. From a young man shepherding sheep in the back country, to the palace as king, and everything in between.

How about you? Do you have anything to praise Daddy God about? How about the fact you woke up this morning? We are living in trying times, not knowing what tomorrow will bring. More than ever, now is the time to praise Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

If you stop for a minute, I’m sure you can find a list of things to praise Them for. So go ahead and praise Them right where you are!

Today’s Decrees:

  • I declare that I have a list of reasons to praise Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, and I will not let uncertain times silence my praise!

  • I praise Him for His miracles of might and His magnificent greatness, and I praise Him for the simple gift of waking up this morning!

  • My praise is not a reward I withhold until circumstances improve — it is my response to who Daddy God is right now!

  • I let my praise be loud, physical, and unrestrained, just as David modeled through every season of his life!

  • Wherever I am right now, I choose to praise Them right where I stand!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for every reason to praise You, both the miracles of might and the simple gift of this morning. Forgive us for the times we have waited for perfect circumstances before lifting our voice. Teach us, like David, to praise You in every season, not just the easy ones. Let our praise be loud and unrestrained, filled with gratitude for who You are and what You have done. Right where we are today, in whatever uncertainty surrounds us, we choose to praise You. Let the hallelujah rise. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Be a Blessing,

Sir Gregory
