Grace — “God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone. This same grace teaches us how to live each day as we turn our backs on ungodliness and indulgent lifestyles, and it equips us to live self-controlled, upright, godly lives in this present age.” (Titus 2:11-12, TPT)
What is grace? Grace is God's unmerited favor, love, and blessing given freely to us regardless of our performance, worthiness, or ability to earn it. It's divine kindness extended to those who don't deserve it and can't repay it. It’s also God’s power to overcome wrong and to do what’s right!
Grace doesn’t just exist in a religious forum. It exists in every day life. Grace always involves giving something of value (like time, forgiveness, opportunity, kindness) to someone who hasn't earned, can't repay it, and may not even deserve it.
People recognize grace as one of the most beautiful human qualities. It's what makes someone truly admirable and magnetic. It's love in action without strings attached. The beautiful thing is that human grace, at its best, reflects the divine grace that's the source of all true grace - even when people don't realize that's what they're expressing!
Our world needs more people to not just talk about grace but to actually demonstrate it!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, thank You for Your marvelous grace that has manifested in person through Jesus, bringing salvation for everyone. Help us understand that grace is not just a theological concept but Your unmerited favor, love, and blessing given freely regardless of our performance or worthiness. Holy Spirit, teach us how to live each day equipped with this grace, and help us demonstrate divine grace to others who need to experience love in action without strings attached. In Jesus' name, Amen.
