Joy, Phil. 4:4-5 (The Mirror Bible), “Joy is not a luxury option; joy is your constant. Your union in the Lord is your permanent source of delight; so I might as well say it again, rejoice in the Lord always. This kind of joy empowers you to show perfect courtesy towards all people. The Lord is not nearer to some than what he is to others.”

Joy is not your option but our constant! Wow! That’s a different way to see it. Joy is one of our companions on this walk with Christ. Joy is way more than a feeling. It is a choice and a close friend.

If your joy meter is low, go back and find where you left it!  As Paul’s say’s, “Let your joy be made full!” (John 15:11)
