Cast, LK.5:4-5 (TPT), “Jesus sat down and taught the people from the boat. When He had finished, he said to Peter, “Now row out to deep water to cast your nets and you will have a great catch.” “Master,” Peter replied, “we’ve just come back from fishing all night and didn’t catch a thing. But if You insist, we’ll go out again and let down our nets because of Your word.”

How many times does doing what Christ say’s seem wrong, yet the results turn out different than we expect? Like loving those who misuse you or talk bad about you. Yet Christ says cast love on the other side. Turn the other cheek. Give and it will be given to you.

Living a surrendered life doesn’t seem right to the natural man. Yet the results are opposite of what they expect. The spiritual man will receive so much more by doing what Christ asks. Just like Peter, he said to Jesus ‘on your word we will cast our nets’. The result was a catch bigger than they could contain in one boat. So what is Christ saying to you that may seem contrary to the natural?
