Hate — “Just remember, when the unbelieving world hates you, they first hated Me. If you were to give your allegiance to the world, they would love and welcome you as one of their own. But because you won’t align yourself with the values of this world, they will hate you. I have chosen you and taken you out of the world to be Mine.” (John 15: 18-19, TPT)

Yes, the worldly systems hates true believes and followers of Christ. Yet, there has crept into the body of Christ another adversary. It’s not a new adversary; it’s the same one, but he’s changed his tactics! Now we have believers that actually hate other believers. Religion seems to have a new face. It no longer just hates Christ, Holy Spirit and Daddy God, but it hates those that truly follow Them! And it convinces these followers to hate each other!

The structure of many denominations has gotten so far off what Jesus taught that it’s hard to recognize! This is even true for those that claim no denominational affiliation. Most churches have developed power structures that are not much different than a business. Then add in political divisiveness. The result? Everyone end up fighting to be right or to become the Grand Poobah!

Jesus taught and lead as a servant, loving those who opposed Him! So much so that He even let the haters persecute Him to the point of His earthly death! But He rose from the grave to show us how love truly works!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, help us understand that the world's hatred of us is because we belong to You, not because we're unlovable! Break down the barriers that have caused believers to hate other believers. Remove religious spirits that have crept into Your body and turned us against each other. Help us follow Jesus' example of servant leadership and loving those who oppose us. Keep our love meters high even when surrounded by hatred. Deliver us from fighting to be right or becoming the Grand Poobah, and restore us to Your original design of unity in love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I decree that I love fellow believers even when we disagree!

I decree that I reject Grand Poobah competition and embrace servant leadership!

I decree that I will not let politics divide me from Kingdom family!

I decree that my love meter stays high regardless of others' hatred!

I decree that I follow Jesus' example of loving enemies and serving humbly!

I decree that I am chosen and taken out of the world to be His!
