Identity — “The Lord and the Spirit are One; His Lordship sanctions our freedom. A freedom from rules chiselled in stone to the voice of our redeemed design echoing in our hearts. Now, we all, with new understanding, see ourselves in Him as in a mirror. The days of window-shopping are over. In Him every face is unveiled. In gazing with wonder at the blueprint of God displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking into a mirror, where every feature of His image, articulated in Christ, is reflected within us. The Spirit of the Lord engineers this radical transformation; we are led from an inferior mind-set to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity. From the fading glory of our own making, to the discovering of the most amazing reality that we are His glory!” (2 Corinthians 3:17-18, The Mirror Bible)

Do you know who you are? Or maybe I should ask do you know whose you are? Until we learn who Christ truly is, we will not understand who we truly are. Once the veil is removed and our minds recognize the truth, there is no turning back. You see His image in everything you do!

The problem we have is that we have an adversary who has convinced mankind that we cannot know, see, or hear the very One who created us. Even our religious institutions believe only a few can intimately know Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Jesus came to make the way for ALL to know Him in all His glory. The veil has been removed and, thankfully, many are waking up to the truth. Let’s help them create new mindsets which help them understand their true identity! “We stand fully identified in the new creation renewed in knowledge according to the pattern of the exact image of our Creator.” (Colossians 3:10, The Mirror Bible)

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, remove every veil from our understanding and help us see ourselves as You see us. Open our eyes to recognize that we are Your glory, created in Your image and fully identified in the new creation. Holy Spirit, engineer the radical transformation in our minds that moves us from inferior mindsets to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity. Help us stop window-shopping for identity and start gazing with wonder at who we truly are in Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

• I decree that I am fully identified in the new creation, created in God's exact image!

• I decree that the veil has been removed and I see myself as God sees me!

• I decree that I am His glory, not a project to be fixed but a masterpiece to be celebrated!

• I decree that I have direct access to Daddy God through Christ with no need for human mediators!

• I decree that I help others discover their authentic identity and reject religious lies about their worth!
