You are not an optional extra in the Body of Christ. You are not a spare part that the Body could function just as well without. You were specifically designed, specifically gifted, and specifically placed — for this time, in this community, among these people — to do something that no one else can do in quite the way you do it. The goal of Jesus is not just for the platform people, not just for the visible parts, not just for those whose gifts are celebrated publicly. It is for every part. Including the quiet ones. Including the behind-the-scenes ones. Including the ones who have been hurt and stepped back and are wondering if they still have a place. You do. The Body is incomplete without you.
