Intimacy — “YAHWEH, your God, is inside you. He is the Warrior-Savior who takes such delight in you that it will make Him leap for joy and shout with great gladness. Yes, He will soothe you with His love. He will sing over you His song of praise.” (Zephaniah 3:17, TPT)

Have you given any thought to the idea that you can be intimate with Daddy God? Like you’re the only one He sees? “For Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, sent me after glory. And He warns the nations who plundered you: ‘Whoever touches you, My precious ones, touches the apple of My eye.’” ( Zechariah 2:8, TPT) That’s a very endearing statement! Too times we look at ourselves as being insignificant, yet He cares enough to know the very number of hairs on our head.

Daddy God loves each of us without prejudice. Think about how you love your children; do you have a favorite? I would say most of us don’t. King David prays, “Protect me from harm; keep an eye on me like You would a child reflected in the twinkling of Your eye. Yes, hide me within the shelter of Your embrace, under your outstretched wings.” (Psalm 17:8, TPT)

Begin to look at yourself as a favored child because that’s the same way Daddy God looks at you. Yes, you are His favorite! And so am I!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, help us grasp the incredible truth that You take such delight in each of us that it makes You leap for joy and shout with great gladness. Open our understanding to receive Your intimate love that sees us as the apple of Your eye while extending that same personal intimacy to all Your children. Holy Spirit, help us stop seeing ourselves as insignificant and start embracing our identity as Your favored children. Teach us to rest in the shelter of Your embrace under Your outstretched wings. In Jesus' name, Amen.

• I decree that I am intimately loved by Daddy God who leaps for joy and shouts with gladness over me!

• I decree that I am the apple of His eye, precious beyond measure and fiercely protected!

• I decree that I rest in the shelter of His embrace under His outstretched wings!

• I decree that I am His favorite child while celebrating that all His children share this beloved status!

• I decree that His intimate love for me is personal, complete, and undiminished by His love for others!
