Wait — “For this reason the Lord is still waiting to show His favor to you so He can show you His marvelous love. He waits to be gracious to you. He sits on His throne ready to show mercy to you. For Yahweh is the Lord of justice, faithful to keep His promises. Overwhelmed with bliss are all who will entwine their hearts in Him, waiting for Him to help them.” (Isaiah 30:18, TPT)
There are many words that most of us don’t like. One of these words is wait! Most of us want what we want, and we want it right NOW! Have you ever thought that Daddy God also waits? He waits on us; He doesn’t force His will on us.
As we wait, let’s not just worry and sit around doing nothing. “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you.” (Matthew 7:7, TPT) After we have sought and knocked, then it’s time to simply wait on His promises.
“He empowers the feeble and infuses the powerless with increasing strength. Even young people faint and get exhausted; athletic ones may stumble and fall. But those who wait for Yahweh’s grace will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their race without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.”
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, help us understand that waiting isn't just something we do for You, but something You do for us in Your marvelous love and grace. Teach us to wait with expectancy rather than frustration, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your promises are faithful. Holy Spirit, show us how to be active in our waiting—asking, seeking, and knocking while trusting Your perfect timing. Give us divine strength to soar like eagles as we wait for Your grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.” (Isaiah 40:29-31, TPT)
Today’s Decrees:
• I decree that I wait on Daddy God with expectancy, knowing He waits to show me His marvelous love!
• I decree that my waiting is active pursuit through asking, seeking, and knocking!
• I decree that I experience divine strength that enables me to soar, run, and walk without growing weary!
• I decree that my heart is entwined with God's, finding bliss in His timing and purposes!
• I decree that waiting seasons strengthen rather than weaken my faith and endurance!
