Knock — “You have shut Me out in your self-righteousness, but behold, here I stand knocking at the door. If anyone recognizes My voice and lets Me in, I am so ready to join you for a feast. Yes, I will dine with you and you with Me - we now dine together in the throne room, celebrating your victory mirrored in Mine. This is My gift to you; it is on exactly the same basis of My victory celebration and My joint seatedness with My Father in His throne-room.” (Revelation 3:20-21, The Mirror Bible)
Not only does Jesus want to come in, He also wants to dine with us. This isn’t just any dinner; it’s a feast! The dinner table is a very intimate place. It’s a place where we can discuss life and all of our struggles and accomplishments. And it’s place for healing and growing!
Matthew tells us to: “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for.” (Mathew 7:7, TPT)
Are you knocking on Jesus’ door? Or is He knocking on yours? Either way, let’s walk through the door that’s set before us!
Let’s Pray:
Good day, Daddy God! Thank You that Jesus stands at the door knocking, ready to come in and feast with us. Help us recognize His voice and open the door wide. We don't want to shut You out through self-righteousness or pride. Come into the intimate places of our hearts and lives. We're ready for the feast You've prepared - not just any dinner, but a celebration in Your throne room! And help us also be persistent in knocking on Your door, asking, seeking, and discovering all You have for us. Whether You're knocking on our door or we're knocking on Yours, let's walk through the door that's set before us together. In Jesus' name, Amen.
