Will — “When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean. ”Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Matthew 8:1-3, New King James Version)

We often hear the phrase “if it be God’s will” for healing, new jobs, relationships, money, and many other things. Can we truly know Daddy God’s will? We do know that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are not willing that any should perish! “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9 NKJV)

There are many instances throughout the Bible (New and Old Testaments) where we are told the will They have for us. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 2, NKJV). We know this is the heart of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit!

Let’s remove one of the largest two letter words we have from our prayers: “IF!” Then we can pray with certainty according to Their will!

Let’s Pray:

Good day, Daddy God! Thank You for making Your will so clear through Your Word and through Jesus' example. Help us stop praying uncertain prayers filled with "ifs" and start praying with the confidence that comes from knowing Your heart. You are willing to heal, willing to bless, willing to prosper us in all things. Jesus, thank You for declaring "I am willing" to the leper and showing us Your heart toward our needs. Holy Spirit, help us remove doubt and uncertainty from our prayers and pray according to the will that's already been revealed. We know You're not willing that any should perish, and we know You desire our prosperity and health. Help us pray with that same certainty! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Declaration:

I remove the word "if" from prayers about God's clearly revealed will. When Scripture shows me God's heart, I pray with confidence, not uncertainty. I know that Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are willing to heal, bless, prosper, and save. I will no longer hedge my prayers with doubt when God has already declared His willingness. I choose to pray according to Their revealed will with faith and expectation.

Be a Blessing,

Sir Gregory
