Daily Vitamin

Leave — “Never forget—I am always with you and will protect you wherever you go. And one day I will bring you back to this land, for I will neither leave you nor fail to fulfill every word I have promised you.” (Genesis 28:15, TPT)

The promise to be with us and to never forsake didn’t begin in the New Testament. Jesus told the disciples “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b, NKJV) When we read through the Bible, there are many places that we are repeatedly told Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are with us. They didn’t create us and then just leave us on our own.

Adam and Eve walked with Them in the Garden. Moses spent time with Them on the mountain. They spoke to Jacob in dreams. They told Joshua “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6,NKJV). Again in Hebrews, “I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!” (13:5b,TPT) Same phrase! Do you get the picture?

We were created to have relationship — not only with Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit — but with each other. The adversary has done a good job in convincing society that They left us alone. So much so that the family unit has separated more than ever! We can overcome our adversary by first staying connected to Daddy God, Holy Spirit and Jesus. And then by strengthening our families and friends.

You can start today. Connect with someone who you’ve lost connection with!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us, a promise that echoes from Genesis through Revelation. Help us understand that You didn't create us and then abandon us to our own devices, but You have been present with Your people throughout all of history. Jesus, thank You for Your assurance that You are with us always, even to the end of the age. Holy Spirit, help us overcome the adversary's lies that We've been left alone and strengthen our connections with You and with each other. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Decrees:

• I declare that God will never leave me nor forsake me, a promise from Genesis to Revelation!

• I declare that I reject the lie that I've been left alone and embrace the truth of divine presence!

• I declare that I stay connected to Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit as the foundation for all relationships!

• I declare that I strengthen my family and friendships by reflecting God's never-leaving love!

• I declare that I connect with someone today, overcoming the adversary's strategy of isolation!
