Light —“Life came into being because of Him, for His life is light for all humanity. And this Living Expression is the Light that bursts through gloom—the Light that darkness could not diminish!” (John 1:4-5, TPT)
Without light plants don’t grow, and eventually they shrivel up and die! We aren’t much different; without the light of Christ in our lives we shrivel up into depression, lostness, and all kinds of wickedness, lawlessness, and evil.
“While I am with you, it is daytime and we must do the works of God who sent Me while the light shines. For there is coming a dark night when no one will be able to work. “As long as I am with you My life is the light that pierces the world’s darkness.” (John 9:4-5, TPT)
Having Christ’ light in our lives will dispel the darkness that tries to destroy us! All it takes is a little light to scatter the darkness. As we grow in Christ’s light, the darkness has no place to hide! Invite His light into all the dark places of your life, and let His joy fill you up!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we thank You that Jesus is the Light of the world, the Living Expression that bursts through every kind of gloom and darkness. Just as plants need physical light to grow and thrive, we need the Light of Christ to flourish spiritually. Shine Your light into every dark place in our lives - our depression, lostness, fear, and any areas where evil tries to take root. Help us to grow in Christ's light so that darkness has no place to hide. Fill us with Your joy and let Your light pierce through the world's darkness wherever we go. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I declare that Jesus is the Light that bursts through every gloom and darkness in my life.
I declare that Christ's light in me destroys all darkness that tries to destroy me.
I declare that as I grow in Christ's light, darkness has no place to hide in my life.
I declare that I invite Christ's light into every dark place and let His joy fill me up.
I declare that I am a carrier of light that pierces the world's darkness wherever I go.
