Overcome — “I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.”  (Philippians 4:12-13, TPT)

Have you ever thought about overcoming abundance? Seems like a problem many would want. But those who have abundance also have some of the same difficulties as those who lack resources!

What Paul is communicating to us is that whether you have plenty or not, the way through trials is accomplished by our faith and trust in Christ, Daddy God and Holy Spirit. They give us the ability to overcome all things!

Together with Them we win!

Today’s Declarations:

  • I declare that I am trained in the secret of overcoming all things — in seasons of lack and in seasons of overwhelming abundance!

  • The strength of Christ's explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty — in fullness and in hunger I am more than equipped!

  • I do not trust in my abundance and I do not despair in my lack — my trust is in Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit who are constant in every season!

  • I am being trained through every season I walk through — and each one is producing a capacity in me that I could not have developed any other way!

  • Together with Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit — we win. Every time. In every season. No matter what!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for the training. Thank You that You do not waste a single season — whether we are in lack or in abundance, You are using every moment to develop in us the capacity to overcome. Teach us the secret Paul learned — that the way through it all is always the same. Faith and trust in You. Let Christ's explosive power infuse us today to conquer every difficulty we are facing — in fullness and in hunger, in the easy seasons and in the hard ones. Keep our trust anchored in You and not in our circumstances. And remind us every day that together with You — we win. In Jesus' name, Amen.
