Fragrance — “ Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as His beloved sons and daughters. And continue to walk surrendered to the extravagant love of Christ, for He surrendered His life as a sacrifice for us. His great love for us was pleasing to God, like an aroma of adoration—a sweet healing fragrance. (Ephesians 5:1-2, TPT)
All of us carry a fragrance through life. Did you know that bitterness, hatred, and unforgiveness have a distinct aroma? They do. Years ago I visited friends who didn’t have a home. Some lived in the woods, some in cars, others in motel rooms. That they all had a similar aroma. You see poverty and homelessness have their own fragrance.
So if negativity and lack have distinct aromas, what about blessing and righteousness?
“God always makes His grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of His endless triumph. Through our yielded lives He spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God —a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing.” (2 Corinthians 2:14-15, TPT)
Knowledge, victory, yieldness, worship all carry a fragrance that is pleasing to Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. It’s also is pleasing to those who we encounter on a daily basis!
So what do you smell like?

Today’s Decrees:
🔥 I decree that the people of God are releasing the fragrance of Christ into their homes, workplaces, communities, and cities — and every atmosphere of bitterness, fear, and emptiness is being displaced by the sweet aroma of Kingdom life!
🔥 I decree that every spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, and unresolved grief that has been producing a toxic fragrance in the lives of God's people is broken and released in Jesus' name right now!
🔥 I decree that yielded believers are rising — people whose surrendered lives are spreading the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere they go without performance, without striving, without pretense!
🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People are carriers of Kingdom fragrance — the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One — releasing the perfume of life into every person and every place they touch today!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, search us today. Show us what fragrance we are carrying — and where bitterness, unforgiveness, fear, or striving has been producing an aroma that does not reflect You. Cleanse us. Heal us. Fill us with the sweet fragrance of surrender, of worship, of extravagant love that imitates the love of Jesus. Let our yielded lives be the vessel through which You spread the knowledge of God into every room we enter today. Make us the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One — a perfume of life to everyone we encounter. And may everything we carry today be pleasing to You — a sweet healing fragrance rising from the earth to Your throne. In Jesus' name, Amen.
