Relationships — “In every relationship be swift to choose peace over competition, and run swiftly toward holiness, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Watch over each other to make sure that no one misses the revelation of God’s grace. And make sure no one lives with a root of bitterness sprouting within them which will only cause trouble and poison the hearts of many. (Hebrews 12:14-15, TPT)
Relationships can be very stressful, yet we all need and desire them! Life would be easier without people in it (including ourselves,LOL). This is why we need Jesus, Holy Spirit and Daddy God.
Competition and comparison never wins in relationships, especially in family units! The propensity to have hurts and traumas increases when we add in people from work, religion, school, etc. But the joy of friendship and unity also increases!
Make your relationship with the Trinity primary, then that will affect all other relationships!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we thank You for the gift of relationships and for calling us to choose peace over competition in every interaction. Help us to run swiftly toward holiness and watch over each other so that no one misses Your grace. Guard our hearts from roots of bitterness that could poison ourselves and others. Strengthen our relationship with You so that it positively affects all our other relationships. Teach us to love like You love, forgive like You forgive, and choose unity over division. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I declare that I choose love, forgiveness, and unity over competition, judgment, and division.
