Remnant — “But I will gather the remnant of my flock from all the countries where I have scattered them and will bring them back to their folds where they will thrive and increase in number.” YAHWEH declares, “I will raise up faithful shepherds to shepherd them; ones who will really care for them. There will be no more fear or terror for them anymore, and not one will be missing.” (Jeremiah 23:3-4, The Passion Translation)
The Bible talks a lot about a remnant of believers, that Daddy God has a remnant of true believers throughout the world! You might find yourself among what seems to be a swirl of church hurt or an apostate church. Paul reminds us of how Elijah felt “But what was the revelation God spoke to him in response? “You are not alone. For I have preserved a remnant for myself—seven thousand others who are faithful and have refused to worship Baal.” (Romans 11:4, TPT)
Let me remind you how important it is to listen to God and to use your voice in a world full of people who are on a journey to find Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. You are part of the remnant that’s still serving Them!
So let’s not hide. Rather, stand up and share the Their love! And call the rest of the remnant to join you!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God! Thank You for this glorious day to share Your love with the world. Help us understand that we are part of Your faithful remnant scattered throughout the earth. When we feel alone in our faith or surrounded by church hurt and apostasy, remind us that You have preserved others who are faithful and refuse to bow to false gods. Give us courage to stand up and use our voices instead of hiding. Help us call the rest of the remnant to join us in serving You with boldness and love. We are not alone - You have faithful shepherds and believers everywhere! In Jesus' name, Amen.
