Voice — “Jesus did not act independently of His Father. God was present in Christ when they reconciled the total cosmos to Themselves. Deity and humanity embraced. God's act of reconciliation takes every other conclusion out of the equation! No amount of trespasses can match God's evaluation of the human race. Redeemed friendship is now announced from within us! The voice God has in Christ He now has in us; we are God’s ambassadors. Our lives exhibit the urgency of God to persuade everyone to realize the reconciliation of their redeemed identity.” (2 Corinthians 5:19-20, The Mirror Bible)
Jesus took our brokenness and replaced it with His very nature. This was not from an externally, outside replacement; it was from within us! He took our corruption and turned it into Their righteousness. They gave us a new mission with a renewed voice, a voice that represents Them, making us ambassadors to the Kingdom of God! This is not for just available to a select few but for all of mankind. The price to become an ambassador has already been paid in full!
We all have a voice. The question becomes who are you using yours for?
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God! What a beautiful Saturday to reflect on the incredible truth that You've given us Your voice! Thank You that Jesus didn't act independently but in perfect unity with You, reconciling the total cosmos to Yourself. Help us understand that the voice You had in Christ, You now have in us. We are Your ambassadors, carrying the urgency to persuade everyone to realize their redeemed identity. Holy Spirit, help us use our voices to represent the Kingdom of God with the same authority and love that Jesus displayed. The price for our ambassadorship has been paid in full - now help us walk worthy of this calling. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today Declaration:
I am God's ambassador, carrying His voice and representing His Kingdom wherever I go. The same voice God had in Christ, He now has in me. I will use my voice to announce the reconciliation and help others realize their redeemed identity. My life exhibits God's urgency to persuade everyone of their true worth and identity in Him. The price for my ambassadorship has been paid in full, and I serve from that secure position.
