Roots — “I desire for you to realize what the Father has always envisaged for you, so that you may know the magnitude of His intent and be dynamically reinforced in your inner being by the Spirit of God. This will ignite your faith to fully grasp the reality of the indwelling Christ. You are rooted and founded in love. Love is your invisible inner source, just like the root system of a tree and the foundation of a building.” (Ephesians 3:16-17, The Mirror Bible )

Our faith is like the root system of a tree or the piers of a home. They go deep, searching for the nourishment and stability needed to hold up the tree or building. The taller they are the deeper and wider they go.

What is our nourishment and stability? It’s the love of Christ that is our indwelling strength. To know the love of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit is our strength to overcome the attacks of our adversaries. They aren’t just attacking our circumstances, but our roots also!

“Love is your reservoir of super human strength which causes you to see everyone equally sanctified in the context of the limitless extent of love’s breadth and length and the extremities of its dimensions in depth and height.” (Verse 18)

The more we understand Their love, the more love we have to give!

Today’s Declarations:

I am rooted and founded in love — the love of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit is my invisible inner source!

My inner being is dynamically reinforced by the Spirit of God — I am strengthened from the inside out!

I grasp the reality of the indwelling Christ — He is not distant, He is dwelling in me right now!

Love is my reservoir of superhuman strength — I have more than enough to overcome every attack of the adversary!

The deeper my roots go in love, the more love I have to pour out to everyone around me!

Lets Pray:

Daddy God, drive our roots deeper today. Not the roots of religion or performance or striving — but the roots of love. Your love. The love that was envisioned for us before time began, the love that sent Jesus, the love that Holy Spirit makes alive in us every single day. Let us not just know about Your love as a doctrine — let us experience it as a living, breathing, sustaining reality that holds us up in every storm. Reinforce our inner being today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
