Sing

Sing — “YAHWEH, your God, is inside you. He is the Warrior-Savior who takes such delight in you that it will make Him leap for joy and shout with great gladness. Yes, He will soothe you with His love. He will sing over you His song of praise.” (Zephaniah 3:17, The Passion Translation)

We are all familiar with singing worship songs. In the Bible, we read that angels also sing and worship Daddy God — and even the mountains worship Him.

But have you ever processed that He sings over you? He loves you so much that He not only sings but dances with joy over you! The Creator of all things takes time to rejoice over you! Isn’t that amazing?!

“Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! As you serve Him, be glad and worship Him. Sing your way into His presence with joy! And realize what this really means—we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God. For He is our Creator and we belong to Him. We are the people of His pleasure.” (Psalms 100:1-3 TPT)

All this makes me want to worship right now. How about you?

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, as we come into Your presence today, our hearts are overwhelmed by the revelation that You - the Creator of the universe - sing over us with joy. Help us to truly grasp the magnitude of Your delight in us. Tune our hearts to hear Your song of love, and let our voices join with Yours in the most beautiful duet heaven has ever heard. Fill us with the same joy that causes You to leap and dance over us, and let that joy overflow into worship that brings You pleasure. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Declarations:

I declare that Daddy God sings over me with joy and dances with delight because of who I am to Him.

I declare that I am the object of God's pleasure, not because of what I do but because of His choice to love me.

I declare that my worship is a response to His song, joining the divine duet that heaven celebrates.

I declare that I am soothed by His love while simultaneously energized by His joy over me.

I declare that I sing my way into His presence knowing that He's already singing His way into mine.

Be a Blessing,

Sir Gregory
