Words of Encouragement

You are not just a physical person having an occasional spiritual experience. You are a spiritual person having a physical experience — and the spiritual dimension of your life is just as real, just as active, and just as important as everything you can see and touch and measure. Your inner being is being renewed right now — today, in this moment, in this season — even if your outer person feels the weight of time and trouble. The difficulties you are facing are not wasted. They are not random. They are producing something of such eternal weight and glory that Paul says there is simply no comparison. Wake up to that today friend. Both eyes open — natural and spiritual. That is the fully alive, fully awake Kingdom life you were designed for. And it is available to you right now.

1. Where in your life have you been tempted to give up on doing good because the harvest seems delayed? What would it look like to keep pressing in?

2. Is there an area where you have been leaning on your own wisdom instead of trusting the ways of Daddy God? What would surrender look like in that area today?

3. Who in your faith family needs a good deed from you this week — a blessing, an encouragement, an act of service? How can you make that happen?

Words of Encouragement

Beloved child of eternity, never underestimate what God has placed within you. You are not just a human being trying to become spiritual - you are a spiritual being with the seed of Christ Himself living and growing within you. On days when you feel ordinary or insignificant, remember that you carry the same Word that created the universe. When you feel like your spiritual growth is slow, remember that the eternal seed within you is indestructible and will continue growing as you provide the right nourishment. You don't have to force your spiritual development - you simply need to water the seed through prayer and intimacy with Jesus. Trust the process, dear one. What God has planted in you from the beginning is designed to flourish and bear fruit that will last for eternity. You are more precious than flowers, more enduring than grass, because you carry within you the eternal Word of the living God!
