Seeds — “So wherever jealousy and selfishness are uncovered, you will also find many troubles and every kind of meanness. But the wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable. It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness! Good seeds of wisdom’s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace.  (James 3:16-18, TPT)

Scripture is filled with analogies of seeds — good seed, bad seeds, small seeds. Even people are compared to seeds. All seeds have  hidden ingredients, some better than others, which produce different kinds of fruit.

The fruit of wisdom is filled with seeds of peace, kindness, and pure love. Bitterness, jealousy, selfishness are all filled with seeds of trouble and meanness.

What kind of fruit have you been eating? If bad, spit out those seeds!

Todays Decrees:

• I declare that I plant seeds of wisdom from above — pure, peaceful, considerate, teachable, and filled with love!

• I cherish making peace — and I plant good seeds of wisdom's fruit with every peaceful act I choose today!

• I examine the fruit in my life honestly — and where trouble and meanness have taken root I go back to the seed and make a different planting!

• The wisdom from above is my seed of choice — and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness in every area of my life!

• I am free from jealousy, selfishness, prejudice, and hypocrisy — I plant seeds that produce fruit I am proud to eat and proud to share!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God wake us up today — fully awake in both realms we were designed to inhabit. Open the eyes of our hearts to the unseen dimension that runs alongside every moment of our physical lives. Help us to stop sleepwalking through the eternal while only paying attention to the temporary. Renew our inner beings today — fresh strength, fresh perspective, fresh awareness of the spiritual reality that gives everything in the natural world its true meaning. Let us see our difficulties through Your lens — as the substance producing an eternal weighty glory far beyond all comparison. And let us live today fully present, fully awake, and fully alive in both the physical and spiritual dimensions of the extraordinary Kingdom life You designed us for. In Jesus' name, Amen.
