If you have been standing at a distance, mentally rehearsing everything you think you need to say before you can fully return to Daddy God, hear this today. He is not waiting for your speech. He was running toward you before you even turned around. The son in this story never got to finish his rehearsed plea, because the father had no interest in hearing him prove his unworthiness. He already had a robe ready. He already had a ring in his hand. Whatever you have been holding onto, whatever confession you feel you must perfect before you can come close, set it down. Nothing in death or life, nothing known or yet to be discovered, has what it takes to separate you from His love. Come home today. That is all that has ever been required.
