Tomorrow — “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s Kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from Him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” (Matthew 6:33-34, The Passion Translation)
Many times we get caught up in the trap of tomorrow — more concerned with tomorrow’s events than the things right in front of us! We miss the opportunity to share the love, mercy, and grace of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalms 119:105, NKJV) If we look to the Word, Daddy God’s love is a lamp and light. They normally don’t shine way ahead, just a few steps. So if we keep this in mind and apply it to our life, we can trust that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit will truly take care of us. Then life will begin to look a whole lighter.
Surrender your worry about the things you can’t (and never were meant to) be in control of to the One who will take care of them!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, help us break free from the trap of tomorrow's worries and anxieties. Teach us to constantly chase after Your Kingdom and righteousness instead of being consumed with future events we cannot control. Give us grace to deal with each challenge one day at a time, trusting that You will take care of tomorrow. Help us see Your Word as our lamp and light, illuminating just the steps we need for today. Open our eyes to the opportunities right in front of us to share Your love, mercy, and grace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today’s Declarations:
I choose to constantly chase after God's Kingdom and righteousness above all else! I refuse to worry about tomorrow and will deal with each challenge one day at a time. I trust that all the less important things will be given to me abundantly as I seek first His Kingdom. God's Word is my lamp and light, illuminating just the steps I need for today. I surrender my worry about things I cannot control to the One who will take care of them. I am available for today's opportunities to share the love, mercy, and grace of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit!
I decree that I constantly chase God's Kingdom above all other pursuits!
I decree that I refuse to worry about tomorrow and trust God's faithful care!
I decree that I deal with today's challenges with today's grace and strength!
I decree that God's Word lights my path one step at a time!
I decree that I surrender control of tomorrow to my faithful Father!
I decree that I am available for today's Kingdom opportunities and divine appointments!
